Waiting for Baby

Well, as it happens with most babies, her due date has come and gone.  And now we're just waiting.  I really thought she would be here a few days early or at least by her due date.  But I was wrong.

Apparently I provide a very comfortable home.  Even though she is trying very hard to get out several times a day with violent kicks and jabs to my ribs and sides.  I keep telling her that's the wrong way out. but she's not listening to her mother.

I had a nice week off of work last week visiting with friends and taking it easy and trying to enjoy my last bit of time as just me.  But now I've had a week of that and I'm ready to meet this baby girl!

I think that Noodle can tell that it's not much longer that she's the only little cute thing in our lives as she's been extra cute and snugly in the last few weeks.  Here she is helping Adam to practice holding a baby.

So please think baby having thoughts for us because we're ready.  And if we have to take a 41 weeks photo, I'm not going to be very happy....
