Baby Shower!

Last weekend I was so fortunate to have been given a Pink Whale themed baby shower by my wonderful friends Alicia, Laura and Rachel.  The decor was adorable, the food was delicious, the games were fun and it was so nice to see all my friends in one place!  This baby girl was super spoiled with so many generous gifts.

Thank you so much!

My wonderful hosts!

I had to match everyone with their baby photos which was so hard to do!
Grandmas are so excited for this baby girl to get here!

Baby Petersen and Baby Ellis will be just three weeks apart!

Baby's First Bachelorette Party!

Last weekend I got to celebrate Alicia and Dave's upcoming marriage by going away to Newport for the weekend! I'm so excited for them to get married in September!

The beautiful view from our villa!

Half of us got the long skirt and denim jacket memo for Sunday.

Maternity Photos

Just to make sure we remembered how we looked when I was pregnant with Baby Girl, we took some photos...thanks Dad!

Here are some of our favorites.

Remember that Noodle Cat?

Just because we're getting ready for baby girl doesn't mean we aren't still spending all the rest of our time paying attention to our cat.  And, since we got our iphones we take so many pictures of her...because she is just that cute.  Noodle is on a "getting ready for baby training plan" and doesn't like that it's hard to fit onto my lap these days.  And did I mention she's pretty darn cute??

Testing out some of the baby's new things...

I mean....is this not just the cutest cat ever??  I don't think I'm even being biased.

Nursery Painting

The nursery is officially painted!  Thanks to Adam's parents for working so hard on it!  It of course, took me forever to decide on what colors I wanted to use, but we decided on grey with some pink stripes.  Mark and Janice did all the research and came up with an awesome laser contraption to make the most perfect stripes ever!  We're so happy with the way it turned out and now the nursery is almost ready for a baby girl to move in!

The laser contraption required Adam to wear special glasses to help him see it better. Plus, it made him look super cool as you can see.
